Accounts Manager

Position: Account Manager/Media Buyer

Job Summary: 3 Waves is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will work with us on developing campaigns and strategies for all of our clients, and coordinating them from beginning to end to make sure deadlines are met and the client expectations are fulfilled. This team member will be responsible for managing the print and media buying needs of our clients. Our clients depend on us to make their projects the best they can be. We need someone who is exceedingly well-organized, flexible and able to work well with all types of people. We are an office of creative minds and need someone who isn’t afraid to get our heads out of the clouds and back to reality every once in a while!

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Graphic Designers in planning marketing campaigns and developing ideas
  • Manage marketing campaigns for 3 Waves Media and it’s clients using our task management tool
  • Lead marketing meetings with clients and attend and provide support in bid and proposal meetings. 
  • Analyze and interpret a variety of information, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and undertake qualitative research activities
  • Provide monthly result reporting on marketing campaigns to Creative Director and clients.
  • Liaise with clients, consumers and advertising staff
  • Produce media plans and negotiate and manage media bookings
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with agency vendors
  • Place client orders and maintain a production schedule
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and clients, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Keep up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes
  • Respond to and direct incoming phone calls and making outgoing calls as required
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Oversee project deadlines and make sure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Manage the office Project Management Software by organizing tasks, reports, and deadlines
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, work contracts, and client presentations
  • Identify and pursue new projects or clients
  • Provide other administrative duties as directed by Creative Director or Owner
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in marketing management
  • Expereince with media buying for radio, tv, and internet channels
  • Solid grasp of essential marketing and business principles
  • Experience in compiling and interpreting analytics data
  • Good numerical and data management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable delivering presentations to clients
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred
  • Web, HTML, and CSS knowledge is a plus
Social Media Coordinator / Copywriter

Position: Social Media Coordinator/Copywriter

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Job Summary: 3 Waves is looking for an experienced Marketing Strategist/Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Strategist will take charge of social media management, as well as work with us on developing campaigns and strategies for all of our clients. The Marketing Strategist should also be a talented writer. We need someone who is a people person – our marketing strategist should be ready to engage with clients and the team on a regular basis. This person should be highly organized and able to maintain a complex schedule of duties. We’re looking for an all around creative ready to make a difference for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide copy for marketing campaigns as necessary, such as for print and digital advertisement
  • Provide proofreading and copy editing support as needed
  • Manage social media campaigns for 3 Waves Media and its clients, to include writing and scheduling social media posts on a daily basis
  • Take the lead on managing 3 Waves’ social media presence
  • Promote 3 Waves through digital and traditional media
  • Provide copywriting support for bid and proposal efforts.
  • Responsible for accurate time tracking by project and client
  • Provide other administrative duties as directed by Creative Director or Owner
Requirements:
  • Experience in social media management and social media strategy
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in common social media platforms – especially Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Experience using PPC and Google AdWords is a plus
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred
  • Web, HTML, and CSS knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledgeable on ad accounts and budgets for socail media campaigns.

 

Our hours are Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Pay will depend on experience.
